In need of something or anything new...

Of late, there seemed to be a rather lack of excitement occurring in life. Even times of leaving self-imposed and constructed comfort zone don’t spark nervousness or trills. While trying to broaden activity scope by trying new experience to seek some sort of new focus, all attempts seemed to fail with utter lose in interest too fast.

Comfort zones are repeated habits, recurring patterns and regular practices one would do so often that it becomes them and the lack of focus don’t break them from doing what they intended. Once establish, staying in the comfort zone will allow a person to perform remarkably and naturally with limited levels of stress. Leaving their comfort zone is almost impossible for most people as nothing is predictable by regular sense and all things are new and estranged. Most try to coup while others expand their comfort zones to integrate in the new atmosphere, it is quite rare to see one who would develop a whole new comfort zone without the lack of revelations, epiphanies and outside assistance.

Comfort zones are tied quite closely personality, temperament and nature of an individual. Hobbies, ethics, moral standards, genre preferable, taste, artistic sense, company, needs and wants are established with each individual’s comfort zone. Example: it’s hard to have a Melancholic play spotlight leader and a stingy, self-centered loner to be charitable and generous. When one ventures out of their comfort zone, trying new things, eating or tasting new food, experience in different genre and etc., the attempts are often, if not always, short lived.  These ventures are mostly introduced by friends and relatives and unless they fit in with the comfort zone, sayonara.

So explorations and expansion has landed no where, haven't been able to find anything permanent. With all the things tried and yet no long term nor at least a flicker of sustaining, is it wrong to wonder if this will last? Or will revisiting or reminiscing comfort zone find some solace?
